Welcoming and comfortable style
Challenge was to modernize and architecturally integrate the half wall and column in the breakfast area while keeping light flowing through the space and keeping sightlines open from the kitchen to living

Vinanti transformed our dining and living areas into an eclectic abode where we love to spend time and entertain our loved ones. She proposed a giant wall mirror surrounded by custom built-ins to open up the dining space, and incorporated round dining and breakfast tables that is really doing justice to the space we have and maintaining continuum.
She not only added architectural details by incorporating custom cabinetry in both rooms, but also redesigned our fireplace with the right proportions in mind, and custom made concrete tile.
She then continued to amaze us with the furnishings that she selected to fill the space.
Our project is the perfect representation of Vinanti's design capabilities. Each and every corner has her personal touch and design that incorporates our style, both mine and my wife's, which is not easy to pull. She made us feel supported through every step of the process, which was lengthy, but so worth it! Our home would not have turned out so incredible without trusting her creative instincts, and taking risks in the space. A massive thank you to Vinanti for this amazing place. We are working with her on our next project and highly recommend her.

GRAND RAPIDS KITCHEN
Project brief - Full kitchen remodel including custom cabinet design, functional lighting, new flooring
New appliances but no relocation of plumbing, gas line, refrigerator and venting to stay within budget.

This kitchen was fully transformed from a transitional to a modernist style with mid century influence. Vinanti conceptualized a design that strategically moves the eye to make the space feel much larger. Raising the height of the backsplash from an outdated 16 inches to a striking 24 inches instantly lifts the eye, increasing the depth of space. Custom height tall slender cabinets go all the way up to the ceiling raising the eye further up without a break that standard cabinets would create. Top this off with a delicate walnut frame that envelopes the top and sides of the cabinets creating a homey vibe and adding mid-century flair.
Vinanti carefully drew up the plans to incorporate design details such as

integration of the countertop with the walnut frame,

custom vent hood with a shape that allows a play of light on the faceted tile surface

gorgeous white quartz shelves that seamlessly integrate with the cabinets,

golden shelving system by the sink that beautifully breaks the continuity of the cabinets creating a moment of retreat at the sink. The carefully chosen light sconce and faucet, the intentional mixing of metals are critical elements that enhance this moment as something special, not mundane.
